Longevity 101

Welcome to Longevity On Lock.

Here, we are young, healthy, and dedicated to remaining young for as long as possible.

Why should we wait until we see wrinkles to try and fight the aging process? Aging is cumulative; the effects you start to feel around 35 are the sum of every choice you’ve made. Oxidative damage, DNA mutations, chronic inflammation, and more are all preventable thanks to modern science.

I’m not here to talk about eating healthy or working out—you should obviously be doing that if you want to maximize your lifespan. Here, I want to get into the nitty-gritty science: the reasons we age, down to each and every cell. The supplements I recommend are all cherry-picked from numerous experts, filtered down into what’s actually useful for young people.

If you're under 30, there’s no need to take NAD or replenish chemicals your body already produces. In fact, taking those too young can slow down your body’s natural production, since most of these compounds operate in feedback loops.

I’ll admit, I’m just a college student—I don’t know everything. But I’m majoring in Biomedical Engineering and have researched this topic extremely in-depth. Everything I share is 100% science-based. Still, you are responsible for your own health decisions.

Whenever you hear about a supplement that sounds interesting, I recommend digging into it yourself. Read a few studies. Taking supplements every day can get tedious, but when you understand why you're taking something, it starts to feel like there’s no other choice.

If you decide to stick around, I’ll be posting my favorite supplements and what they do, reviews of products, and my take on different longevity practices.
